Systems of oppression, inequity, and injustice are by design; therefore, they can and must be redesigned. Each and every one of us is a designer - regardless of professional title or education - because we each have the power to affect outcomes. We all have a role to play in dismantling inequitable systems and we cannot do it alone.
Together, we are both learning and unlearning how to be in community with one another and discovering what it means to design with others as opposed to designing for them. This continuous learning journey requires humility, courage, reflection, and connection.
